Something Wonderful

Where the Bee Sucks,
There Suck I

William Shakespeare

Where the bee sucks, there suck I;
In a cowslip bell I lie;
There I couch when owls do cry,
On the bat’s back I do fly
After summer merrily,
Merrily, merrily shall I live now
Under the blossom that hangs on the
bough.

  1. Dear Cherished KWD Reader,

    Thank you for identifying “The Tempest” as the play in which this
    lovely little poem cast its magical glow! A dear friend of mine is
    passionate about bees and saving them and I printed this poem
    out for her on lovely paper bordered in flowers — she was so
    thrilled to have it!

    Write on,
    Karin
